These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. The personal data provided by entrants to the Promoter will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://starpubs.co.uk/privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion, contacting entrants and prize fulfilment (as necessary).

• 1. This promotion is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Heineken group of companies, Star Pubs & Bars Limited, staff employed in any participating venue and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.
• 2. How to Take Part
  1. Scan the QR code situated on the point of sale materials where available in participating venues between 19th October 2020 and midnight on 1st November 2020.
  2. You must be inside the venue where you scanned the QR code when you play the game in order to be eligible for a prize, any prize won out with venue will be void.
  3. Enter your date of birth.
  4. Take a photo or opt to use one of the avatars.
  5. Make your way around the Spook Inn collecting coins and avoiding the ghosts.
  6. Collect 40 coins to qualify for entry into the prize draw.
  7. Enter your name and email address. For prize redemption purposes you must enter the email address that is associated with your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account then follow the instructions to create an account. PayPal is required for prize redemption.
  8. Spin the wheel to see if you have won a prize.
• 3. Prizes The following prizes can be won by playing the game:
  • a) 1250 x £5 prizes
  • b) 200 x £20 prizes
  • c) 95 x £50 prizes
  • d) 40 x £200 – The £200 prize may only be won on 30th October 2020, 31st October 2020 and 1st November 2020.
• 4. £23,000 will be awarded to participants in the course of this promotion. Once this sum has been reached no further prizes will be provided. The Promoter will not be liable for any reimbursement where an entry has been made but the prize not claimed prior to the cap of £23,000 being reached. Reaching the cap of £23,000 will bring this promotion to an end.
• 5. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for lack of availability of the game.
• 6. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for game sessions lost or scores unaccounted for due to faults or downtime in the browser, app or game.
• 7. One entry per day per person.
• 8. Only one prize may be won per person in the course of the promotion.
• 9. No purchase necessary to enter. The game is free to play, however standard network rates for data usage will apply
• 10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won via cheating or using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• 11. The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• 12. The promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
• 13. The Promoter cannot guarantee that the game or third party apps will be free from disruptions, failings or cancellations. The Promoter is not liable for such disruptions, failings or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence.
• 14. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.
• 15. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
• 16. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
